Hi! My name is Grizel Young and I spent most of my life working in offices for someone else (most of whom couldn't appreciate me, or what I was capable of bringing to the table) Well, last year I was laid off presumably due to the economy, but I know the real truth...I didn't see eye to eye with the new management that bought out the company that I had worked for. No matter how hard I tried, ultimately in the end I just couldn't "drink the Kool-Aid" It left a bad taste in my mouth. That is to say that I found their leadership to be lacking and they had a habit of making all of their decisions on the fly only to realize later that their new decisions sucked - something that my logical mind can not conceive of or tolerate.

I should thank them really for letting me go, because now I get the chance to work for myself - finally upper management that I can respect and trust!

My new mantra is "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" ~ Lao Tzu.

Starting up "Sweets for the Sweet" is my first step! ...and I know that you all will be able to appreciate what I can bring to your table!!!
